The maintenance of coffee grinders mainly includes daily cleaning and regular maintenance. The specific steps are as follows:
Daily cleaning:
Bean bin: After use every day, take out the unused coffee beans and wipe the inside of the bean bin with a paper towel. The residual coffee beans in the blade can be cleaned by grinding, and then the residual powder can be removed with a brush or air blower.
Grinding chamber: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the powder outlet and the opening of the grinding chamber to keep the grinding chamber clean.
Main body shell: Use a sponge and microfiber cloth slightly soaked in soapy water to gently wipe the surface of the main body once a day.
Regular maintenance:
Blade cleaning: Remove the bean bin and check whether there is a large amount of residual powder or stuck coffee beans on the blade of the grinder. Use a brush and air blower to clean the texture of the blade, and then wipe it clean with a paper towel. Be careful not to get it wet.
Deep cleaning: If the grinder has not been cleaned and maintained for a long time, you can put cleaning tablets or raw rice in it for cleaning. I personally recommend using raw rice, as the grease of the coffee beans and the dust in the machine will be attached to the rice powder through grinding and brought out. After repeating this several times, the blade will be as bright as new.
Replace coffee beans: After grinding all the coffee beans in the original grinder, put in a small amount of the coffee beans you want to replace and "wash" them. After putting in the new coffee beans, readjust the grinding degree of the grinder according to the roasting degree and freshness of the coffee beans
